Jennifer Weisgerber is an activist and communications professional from Bismarck with experience in nonprofit marketing, graphic design, and event planning. She most recently worked as a marketing coordinator at an employee-owned engineering company, but brings a background in the nonprofit communications sector from her work at CAWS North Dakota, a statewide nonprofit working to end sexual and domestic violence. Jennifer also serves as vice president for Dakota OutRight, a volunteer advocacy organization working to improve the lives of LGBTQIA North Dakotans and their families. She attended Bismarck State College and Dickinson State University, leveraging a University Studies major to focus on journalism, art, and communications. Jennifer is a strong supporter of local agriculture, the Missouri River, and stewardship of North Dakota’s natural resources. She has a wide variety of interests, including her three dogs, photography, gardening, volunteering, cooking, motorcycles, and bonfires.
