They came carrying signs with messages tied to the shipping of Bakken crude by rail. 

Members of the Dakota Resource Council want state leaders to stabilize the oil before it’s loaded onto trains.

 

They stepped up today in Casselton asking regulators and elected officials to do what is necessary to prevent another catastrophe like the Casselton train explosion.

 

The group plans on attending a transportation safety hearing Tuesday in Bismarck to further their cause.
